The company was originally started in 1958, manufacturing electronic, hydraulic, optical and mechanical components as a subcontractor for the SR-71 and F-117 stealth fighter aircraft. In 1986, DynaMetric came out with the very first Telephone Recording Patch, model TRP-100, and this model is still used today.
